Need help with dental bills ...
I am new to this site and not sure if I am doing this right. Please let me know if I do something wrong.
I had to have oral surgery twice in the last six months. For the last one I knew my monthly payment would go up, though I was surprised how much. It is now at $96 a month, and that has to come out of our food money which is low to begin with.
I tried to get the payment lowered; they would help us since we are considered a hardship case. The only problem is that they would close the account. I need more work done on my teeth, so I need the account still open so I can borrow more when I need the rest of my teeth done.
What I really need is an angel to make the payments or even partial payments monthly to get me through this. I do not know how long the rest of the teeth that need to be pulled are going to behave themselves.
The whole bill is like $2400. It is with CareCredit. For anyone that needs help paying doctor's, animal doctors, and dentists, CareCredit pays the bill, as long as the place is registered with them, and you pay back CareCredit. They have some great terms.
It is just that I need so much work with my teeth, I am already over my head and am really sick after doing the budget for next month. There is a couple places we can cut, though not enough.
Also, I am supporting my husband who is disabled, though is having trouble getting SSDI, because of situations that came up that were not under our control. So 2 people living off a small SSDI check is ridiculous. At the end of the month we are holding our breath to see if we can get through to the 3rd of the following month.
Anyway, I hope this was not too long. If anyone can help me with this daunting dentist bill I would so appreciate it.

Re: Need help with dental bills ...
I can totally appreciate the pain. Pain in the teeth/mouth is one of the worst pains there is. I just had 5 teeth pulled and need another 4 pulled and then I need dentures for the top and a partial for the bottom. I have no idea how I am going to come up with the money to do all this, though right now I almost have no teeth on the bottom, and it may be awhile until I get the partial.
Thanks for thinking of me.
