Have you checked out the local Goodwill store for boots? Sometimes if you find a pair..if the tops are good, but the sole are worn you can take them to a shoe repair shop and have the soles redone, for a fraction of the cost. Call around first and to shoe repair shops to confirm, before you purchase anything. And don't be afraid to ask for a lower price, explain your problem, nicely, bargin with them, but ask.

we have no goodwills close by you haved to drive miles to get to one, and that is as we do not have, we live in a small town, no shoe repair shops here, if we had any thrift shops or anything like goodwill that would of been my first place to check. but thank you anyway for the advice much appreciated.
