NEW Project Section may be needed.

Hi Everyone,

It seams that we have couple of Members working on a bigger projects for Christmas. Perhaps it would be easier to keep track of things if we had a Separate Project section on the Tree of Wishes? What do you think Tree Guardian?

That way, the project organizer would be able to explain in detail, what their plans are, who is involved and who is doing what. (Please remember not to take more than you can handle on your shoulders).

It is such a joy to see all of you getting involved. Since one of our goals for the Tree of Wishes is to get bigger and get more Great people to join; I think that having a worthy project or two, one that would benefit others on a larger scale would help with that goal as well.

I love the fact that we are starting to think larger and outside the box. RJZMAMA is working on the Christmas Project, (we still need more details) and ANGELBIRD is putting together a plan to help elderly in a nursing home, so they don't feel alone and left out.

Any help for any of those projects would be very appreciated.

If you have other ideas, perhaps mitten & hat drive for little kids, or if you know some little old lady who still can knit (my dear Grandma is long gone...) and would love to make scarfs for homeless? Or maybe you would organize a group from your area to help our at the Salvation Army Dinners? It does not have to be money, because we don't have a lot of that... but some of us have a gift of time to give. Remember, to someone this could be priceless.

There are opportunities all around us, we just have to take a closer look. God Bless You All, and thank you once again for doing all of this!

I will create Special Projects section, I also work on side banner for front page to put special announcements there, that way it will receive extra attention.

Good idea Humber... I know helping each other on here is so important and you don't have to assist with my project in my home town. It is just the desire of my heart and I don't have the financial ability to reach out.

as was said i am wanting to help a lot of needy families with a gift card for food and help with Christmas decorations, kids that are in their teens i want to get a suit of clothes a pair of shoes and a gift and stockings for them the younger kids the same as the teens craft items will be given out to older adults so needs to be something to use or decorate with i will be talking to places like big lots ,kmart,dollar tree,dollar general,and family dollar to see if they will sponsor us and our projects at tree of wishes for those of us in need for holidays and hopefully after the holidays if this project works we will have help for Easter and other holidays i also want cards to be made for the needy families and their kids so i will need a lot of same things angelbird1998 is asking for to make cards to i hope this will help i even have a wish on wish upon a hero for some sponsors and have 2 offers as well as help from my neighbors. please pray for me as this is a big undertaking and any help on your ends in your towns to help in asking for sponsors for tree of wishes Christmas wish angels projects is welcome i need other helpers in each state
