I wish for help with diapers for my newborn baby girl

My baby girl will be 4 weeks old on Monday. Well here is my situation....she can't wear off brand diapers so therefore it's only huggies or pampers. My husband's plant shut down and he lost his job. he worked at a mobile home plant. We are barely getting by as it is but pampers and huggies diapers are expensive. If anyone could please help us in any way we would be so appreciative!! God Bless!

Why can your baby not use anything but name brand?

I have a baby girl the same age. well she is a wee bit older, she is 5 weeks now. We use store brand diapers. At this stage, any diapers should be okay for the baby.

If you are concerned about the 'cheap' ones will give her a rash of some sort..do what I do every diaper changing. Put desitin or something similar on her little bottom. You don't have to wait until there is an outbreak or rash to use diaper rash creams, they also help prevent them too.

We are A-OK and don't use name brand anything. Having to have 'name brand' is more of us as parents mindsets. We want the best for our kids and well, sometimes thats not always possible. What is most important is meeting their needs and having something to catch the pee and poop, regardless of brand.
