My kids need clothes badly

I cleaned out my children's clothes. I have a 55 gallon tote of clothes that no longer fit. My daughter has 4 pants, 2 shirts, and 2 hoodies. My son has 3 pants and 5 tops that fit and a hoody. He has 4 pairs of underwear and only 3 pairs of socks. I found a needy girl and boy from 2 families to give the outgrown clothes to and have delivered the boy's. I am so scared though when I look at their closets and drawers. They really need PJ's, undies, socks. I need to stop having anxiety attacks over this. I can't get Christmas gifts, food, gas, pay my utilities, but those things seem trivial. My kids not having clothes is an awful feeling. My son wears a size 8, 10 underwear, size 2 shoe. My daughter wears a size 7/8, 8 underwear, and size 1 shoe. Used clothes are great.

is there an agency there where you live that might have someto help you? I know here there is, you can go to it once a month, And if someone has donated clothing in the size you are looking for then you can get some...

If not try calling the salvation army and see if they can help you out..

There isn't a clothing closet here. I have called Salvation Army(told no help for clothes), Crisis Control(told same), Catholic Social Services(told they have Wee Care for 2 and younger), Sunny Side Ministries(told I live in the wrong zip code), and even called DSS. They told me they only know of help for foster children. I don't get why there is no help for children that need clothes.

I also forgot to add I posted on freecycle and craigslist with no responses. I even offered to work for clothes and Christmas gifts for my kids only to be flagged over and over again. My post on craigslist only said that I was willing to do yard work, sitting for young or elderly, run errands, paint, or anything small in exchange for clothing/toys/food or money. People can be so cruel. I wanted to earn the things I needed, but failed at that.

I just call your local salvation army, cause I know that the one here helps out, and I was asked to call 3 diffrent offices, but it lead me to the office that you would need. And they will help you with clothing..

They said to come in and bring a photo id, ss cards for everyone in the house, as well as something with your address on it.

and they will give you a valture for

1 pair of shoes
3 pants
3 shirts
1 jacket
for each child
